June 30 Holiday | Inauguration of Noynoy Aquino

June 30, 2010 has been declared this morning as a special non-working holiday (Proclamation No. 2085).

Meaning, if you're required to work on that day, you should get an additional 30% of your daily wage. Good news nga 'to!

June 30 is the Inauguration Day of the Philippines' 15th President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, and also of the new Vice President Jejomar "Jojo" Binay, at the Quirino Grand Stand.

It's the time that people will see outgoing President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo side by side with incoming President Noynoy, shaking hands and exchanging smiles, as if they're best of friends.

But what excites me is not the holiday, but the stars who will grace the inauguration.

According to reports, it will be the most star-studded inauguration of a President in Philippine history.

Ano kaya susuotin ni Madam Kris Aquino? At si James Yap, will he wear again a maong pants and an earring, just like during the Proclamation 2 weeks ago?
