Thomas Mueller Golden Boot Award 2010

Germany's Thomas Mueller was the Golden Boot award winner in the FIFA World Cup 2010.

The adidas Golden Boot Award or the Golden Shoe was one of the 5 special awards given out during the World Cup 2010.

And the Golden Boot Award was given to the player who scored the highest number of goals.

Thomas Mueller scored 5 goals with 3 assists.

Two other players were also strong contenders for the award. David Villa from Spain and Wesley Sneijder from the Netherlands, but with only 1 assist each. That's why the award was handed out to Mueller.
