ABS-CBN Ranks #1 At PEP's Poll

On ABS-CBN News website (www.abs-cbnnews.com), entertainment news would sometimes quote articles from Reuters and Associated Foreign Press for international and Philippine Star for local celebrity scoops.
While ABS-CBN's direct rival GMA Network, Inc. has also its on news website (www.gmanews.tv) and its Hollywood celebrity news would also come from Associated Press but for the local, they have Philippine Entertainment Portal or PEP (www.pep.ph) as the main source.
It's interesting to note that PEP, as GMA's partner in terms of showbiz items, has conducted a survey to its readers as to who between ABS-CBN (Kapamilya) and GMA (Kapuso) is the real #1 station in the Philippines.
The poll, which ended today, solicited a total of 70,942 votes, by which 52.56% is in favor of ABS-CBN while GMA-7 garnered 46.78% of the total votes. Only 0.66% (or 468 votes) decided that neither of the two is higher than the other.
Visitors of PEP is majority from the Kapuso community.
Flashback: Five days ago, the online community was rocked to see an ABS-CBN related item at the Kapuso site. It was actually a PEP news, but appeared on the website of ABS.
