One more time for 'One More Chance'

'One More Chance' has ruled the Philippine Box Office again for the second consecutive weekend, hauling in $682.5M $682,516 (Mykiru: sorry for the error) or 29.3 million pesos. As of Sunday, this Star Cinema movie has already a total gross of $2.6M or over a hundred million pesos, just $500,000 away from A Love Story's $3.1M and has already surpassed Ouija's $2.1M as well as Ang Cute ng Ina Mo's $1.7M.

This John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo starrer may or may not surpass the revenues of 'A Love Story' because of 'Pasukob', which is also a potential box-office hit opening on Wednesday. However, if the movie continues to be shown before the Metro Manila Film Festival 2007 kicks off on December 25, it could be this year's biggest hit.

Foreign movies opening in the Philippines last week were Enchanted (#2) and Hitman. Speaking of Enchanted, it's a record-breaking movie in the US, with a total opening weekend sales of $49M. It also topped box-office charts in Singapore.

Filipino movie Green Paradise which stars Cristine Reyes and Andrew Schimmer also had its debut last week, but it's nowhere to be found on the list.
