ABS-CBN wins 6, GMA bags 5 in the Gold Quill Awards (Philippines) 2007

ABS-CBN and GMA, two giant networks in the country, both went home with important awards at the Gold Quill Awards 2007 (Philippine edition) handed out by the International Association of Business Communicators Wednesday at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Makati City.

The Kapuso Network won (five) 5 awards, just one merit short from ABS-CBN's six (6) awards.

GMA Marketing and Productions Inc's Boxer Ad - Merit Award
2006 Scaling Greater Heights, the GMA Annual Report - Merit Award

Philippine Daily Inquirer, on one hand, was the only newspaper to snatch an award from the said prestigious event. Its section 'Knowledge Trip with Guyito' received a merit award in special events (internal or external).
