Spotlight on Japeth Aguilar

TV Patrol World reports that Japeth Aguilar, who stands 6'9", is the first Filipino to play in the US NCAA, and hopefully will also become the first Pinoy in the National Basektaball Association (NBA).

Japeth Aguilar's inclusion in the men's basketball team of Western Kentucky University (WKU) already made news last year, especially to the Filipino sports community after his fans found out that he won't be playing for the Ateneo Blue Eagles in another season of UAAP sometime in July, 2006 and transferred to WKU.





Japeth last played in the UAAP in 2005 as #20 for Ateneo Blue Eagles, with Filipino audience cheering for him.



A year after, Japeth Aguilar found himself playing as #31 for Western Texas Hilltoppers, and this time, with a newfound foreign fans watching over him.



An ordinary guy, with his own big dreams...


Japeth, who is now 19 years young, has transformed into an extraordinary guy, making Filipino dreams come true.
