Just like the fans, Parokya Ni Edgar's lead vocalist Chito Miranda is also sad that the band Bamboo allegedly has disbanded already.

It's still a hot topic until now the issue about Bamboo's decision to disband, which was announced on Twitter yesterday morning by radio host KC Montero.

Today, Chito has expressed on Twitter his sadness over the news about Bamboo's disbandment. He said, "Nagdisband na daw Bamboo. Si Ebe (Dancel) umalis sa Sugarfree. Si Champ (Lui Pio) din sa Hale. I know they have their reasons and I respect their decision. Pero kahit ano pa yun, malungkot pa rin ako."

Chito's band Parokya Ni Edgar was considered a close rival of Bamboo during the last decade with Chito and Bamboo Mañalac being pitted against each other as fans' favorite vocalist.

The two already teamed up in 2010, along with Kamikazee, during the Rock Overload concert held in April.

With Bamboo now disbanding, Parokya ni Edgar remains intact, still has the same lead vocalist since it was formed in 1993.

A fan asked Chito if he also has a plan of going solo. And Chito responded, "wala po. mas enjoy kasi pagkasama ko mga kabanda ko eh."

Meanwhile, KC Montero has a new Twitter post telling everyone about Bamboo releasing their statement about the issue. "Bamboo (band) should be posting something on their site either today or tomorrow...so I'm told."
