The finale of Australia's Next Top Model last night was an epic fail when host Sarah Murdoch announced the wrong winner.Sarah Murdoch announced Kelsey Martinovich as Australia's Next Top Model Cycle 6 winner but after Kelsey delivered her "Thank You" speech, Murdoch discovered her mistake and announced Amanda Ware as the real winner.

And you know what? Both Amanda and Kelsey actually ended up winners, because according to reports, Kelsey, as compensation for the embarrassment, was awarded $25,000, a trip to New York and will share a magazine spread with the actual winner who took home $20,000 cash prize plus modeling contract and magazine features.
I actually admire how Sarah Murdoch managed to take it with grace and humbly admitted her mistake right in that moment.
Did it happen already here in the Philippines? I can only remember the Manila Filmfest scam in 1994 when Ruffa Gutierrez was announced as Best Actress instead of Aiko Melendez but it was intentionally done and not by mistake.
