The final showdown of Star Power (Sharon's Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar) has just been held earlier at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Five (5) finalists competed in the finals where they had to go through with two elimination rounds.

During the first elimination round, the 5 of them had to sing a song of their choice and Cebu's Akiko Solon was the one voted off on this round. Her final score was 78.77.

The second elimination round required the remaining 4 finalists to perform a song picked by the judges for them. Unexpectedly, K-La Rivera was the one eliminated on this round with a final score of 83.45.

The final round had Monica Sacay of Leyte, Angeline Quinto of Manila and Krissel Valdez of Davao singing an original composition from Star Records.

Star Power grand winner Angeline Quinto

Angeline (photo), a Regine Velasquez look-alike, was the only one who sang a Tagalog song for her final piece. It was entitled "Patuloy Ang Pangarap" originally composed by JohnJonathan Manalo and it sounded so great, a song fit for a winner.

She indeed won! Angeline (who topped Mykiru's Poll) was announced as the Star Power grand winner or Sharon's first Female Pop Superstar with a final score of 90.88.

Krisell came in 2nd with the score of 88.70 while Monica was 3rd with a score of 85.20.

Their scores were based on the following criteria: 40% Online and Text Votes from January 9 to February 20, 30% Judges' Scores and 30% from ABS-CBN Management.

Angeline won 1 million cash, a car, an entertainment showcase from Sony Philippines, diamond jewelries from JMK Jewelry and a recording contract from Star Records.

All 5 Star Power finalists are guaranteed to be regular performers on ASAP Rocks starting on February 27.
