'N Sync reunion was among the highlights of the 2013 MTV VMA (Video Music Awards) held Sunday night, Aug. 25, in New York.
Justin Timberlake was performing a medley of his solo hits at the VMAs until his 'N Sync bandmates, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, joined him and together sang 'Girlfriend' and 'Bye Bye Bye'.
'NSync reunion at the 2013 VMAs came 10 years after the group disbanded sometime in 2003 or 2004. Their 2003 Grammy Awards performance was among their last public performances together.
It also marked the first time that they were seen together after one of their members, Lance Bass, admitted he's gay in 2006.
A new Twitter account (@NSYNC) has been opened for the group a day before the VMAs which fueled rumors that a reunion could possibly take place at the awards show. It indeed happened.
Said Twitter account so far has only 2 tweets, 1 containing photo of the group at the VMAs.
