Did Bamboo make the right choice? That's always the question in every battle round on 'The Voice of the Philippines'.
And for the 5th Battle Round Sunday night, August 11, most viewers think he did.
After making controversial choices the past battles, particularly during the 1st, 3rd and 4th Battle rounds, coach Bamboo Mañalac finally made a generally favorable choice when he picked Talia Reyes over Denise Sagun.

Maki Ricafort and Hans Dimayuga both performed 'What About Love'. Even before the battle, you can already tell that it's Maki who's going to advance.
And yes, it is. Maki was picked by Sarah, while Hans headed home.

Emmanuelle Vera vs Jessica Reynoso: Two great singers who performed the enormously popular song "Just Give Me A Reason".
Emmanuelle already had a share of fame, while Jessica was a finalist in a kiddie singing competition. The latter advanced.

Denise Sagun vs Talia Reyes: "Under the Bridge"
Most viewers would love Talia to advance, but afraid Bamboo would make another disater this time. But thankfully, he didn't as he picked Talia to join his team in the Live Shows.
TEAM LEA SALONGA
RJ dela Fuente vs Rainier Acosta vs Juvie Pelos over the song "What's Going On". It was so obvious that RJ will advance. He deserved it.
Next week, the last battle round will be held. And after that, the Live Shows will finally begin. So excited for that one.
