Rose Fostanes is favorite to be the X Factor Israel winner

Rose Fostanes, a Pinay caregiver, is the big favorite to be crowned 'The X Factor Israel' winner.

Rose Osang Fostanes, a 49-year-old Filipino working as a caregiver for 6 years now in Israel, has remained to be a huge favorite since the audition stage of 'The X Factor Israel' ('The X Factor ישראל') until now that she's is one of the Final Top 4.

Being mentored by Israel singer Shiri Maimon under the category Over 25s, Rose was secured with the finals slot last Tuesday, January 7, 2013 after she wowed judges and viewers with her rendition of Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You", and won the public vote.

Joining her in the Top 4 are Ori Shakiv from the Boys category, Eden Ben zaken from the Girls and the group Fusion. They will battle to become the first ever X Factor Israel winner Tuesday next week, January 14.

Ori and Eden are probably her closest competitors among the 4 since these 2, just like Rose, were never part of the Bottom group during eliminations.

But Rose is the one getting the most headlines in Israel among the 4 grand finalists, and add to that is the massive media attention she's getting here in the Philippines, her home country, as well as in other countries as well. In fact, she's got featured in Time Magazine's World section, headlined "Filipina Caregiver Wins the Hearts of Israel With Her Amazing Voice", with the article saying she's "putting a human face to all the foreign workers who anonymously grind away in the country’s domestic-help sector".

Best of luck to you Rose Fostanes and make us even prouder! Really hopin' she becomes the X Factor Israel winner! (And that's if they're so willing to crown a non-Israeli winner. But let's be positive. She's gonna win.)-
