Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Aspirants: Is Isabelle Daza joining?

Binibining Pilipinas 2014 screening season starts this month: Who are joining the 51st edition of Bb. Pilipinas?

The aspirants from various beauty camps (Aces & Queens, Kagandahang Flores, Team John de la Vega etc) have been training hard and heavy since late last year, hoping for a shot at being one of the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 official candidates.

There will be new faces, but expect some repeaters to show up on the screening. For now, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has already set the deadline for submission of applications and it's already on January 15, 2014 (this coming Wednesday).

Take note of this: they changed the age limit this year. Applicants must be 17-26 years old at the time of the pageant. Previously, it was 17-25.

How true that they did this to accomodate Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz's daughter Isabelle Daza?

Is she joining finally? Belle is turning 26 already on March 6. If in the previous age limit of 25, she won't be qualified.

Her cousin, Joy Antonette Diaz, is already sure to be joining.

Indeed, the guessing game has begun for who else will be submitting or have submitted already their application for Binibining Pilipinas 2014, and so many names have been popping up, including last year's runner-up Pia Wurtzbach, the forever fan favorite MJ Lastimosa, Miss Philippines Earth - Air 2013 Kimverlyn Suiza, Miss Bicolandia 2012 winner Yvethe Marie Santiago and Kapuso star Diva Montelaba.

As a Bicolano, I am so much excited about Yvethe finally joining Binibining Pilipinas this 2014.

She was unable to join last year because that time she was a graduating student at the Bicol University (she graduated Magna Cum Laude!) and had to review for the CPA Board Exam after graduation. She already passed the board last October and now she's so ready to join the national pageant.

In Binibining Pilipinas, Bicolana beauties have been doing so well the past 5 years. Consecutively from 2009 up to 2013, there's a Bicolana titleholder each year: the late Melody Gersbach as Bb. Pilipinas International in 2009, Venus Raj - Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2010, Diane Necio - Bb. Pilipinas Int'l 2011, Elaine Kay Moll - Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2012 and the recently crowned Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, also the reigning Binibining Pilipinas Int'l 2013.

While it's best to just wait for the 2014 screening, I have here for now the names of those ladies appearing in the "rumors list" as Binibining Pilipinas 2014 aspirants (some of them are already confirmed to have submitted their application forms).
