Bb. Pilipinas 2012 Winners (Official Results)

The Binibining Pilipinas 2012 winners have been named and crowned Sunday night, April 15, 2012, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

For the 2nd time, Davaoeña Mary Jean "MJ" Lastimosa was robbed with a Binibining Pilipinas title.

It was a big disappointment during last year's pageant when she only finished 2nd Runner Up, but this year, in her 2nd attempt, is much more disappointing because she didn't even place in the Top 5.

Not like in the case of Bataan's Janine Tugonon, who's luck is definitely always on her side. In Bb. Pilipinas 2011, she wasn't a major contender but placed 1st Runner Up, ahead of MJ who was the 2nd RU.

And for her 2nd try this 2012, Janine Tugonon was crowned tonight with the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title, the highest title in the pageant.

She's among the big favorites, but unfortunately, majority of pageant fans don't like her to be the Philippines' bet to the Miss Universe 2012 pageant.

It would have been better, I guess, if she got the other 2 titles, but not that one. (See Predictions List

I think the disappointment is the same as Bianca Manalo winning the same crown in 2010.
