28th SEA Games 2015 medal tally, as of 3PM today, June 9, 2015, available at the official website: Team Philippines is still ranking among the Bottom 5 teams despite now having 10 golds, including the one won just this afternoon by Chezka Centeno in Billiards & Snooker Women's 9-Ball Pool Singles, as well as the Philippine Volcanoes' gold medal finish in Rugby 7s Men last Sunday.

Centeno actually competed for the gold against another one from the Philippines, Rubilen Amit, who gave the Philippines its 13th Silver.

Is ranking 7th the highest we can get in the SEA Games? During the 2013 SEA Games, the country also ranked 7th via its 29 gold, 34 silver and 38 bronze medals.

This 2015, the Philippine team now has a total of 48 medals - 10 of which are gold, 13 are silver and 25 are bronze.

There's still a week left in the 28th SEA Games 2015, so let's hope we get more golds, and finish at least 4th in the medal standings.

The host nation Singapore still leads with 43-36-49, now followed by Thailand with 29-35-27. Vietnam dropped to 3rd with its 28-14-33 medals, while Indonesia is so far at #4 with 17-20-26 and Malaysia, in 5th, with 16-14-33.

The Philippines is actually in close race for 6th with 2013 SEA Games host and over-all 2nd Placer Myanmar, which also has 10 golds, but having more silvers (16) and lesser bronzes (16).
