There's just 2 days left before the SEA Games 2015 Closing Ceremony, and there's still a number of sport events that are yet to wrap up, such as those in Basketball Men and Women. The Philippine women's volleyball team, with 1-2 record, was already eliminated yesterday, as well as the men's volleyball team, also with 1-2, which made its exit just this morning.
This morning, June 14, Day 9 of 28th SEA Games 2015, the Men's Volleyball event - Philippines vs Thailand - was held, with Thailand as the winner in all 3 sets.
The undefeated Thailand (3-0) now advances to the semifinals tomorrow, while the Philippines (1-2) gets eliminated.
Meanwhile, earlier tonight, it was Gilas Cadets' turn to compete in Men's Basketball Semis, also against Thailand. The 2-time defending champion Philippine team, with 3-0 record, is being manned by Kiefer Ravena, Marcus Douthit, Almond Vosotros, Troy Rosario, Norbert Torries, Scottie Thompson, Baser Amer, Glenn Khobuntin, Rey Mark Belo, Kevin Ferrer, Jiovani Jalalon and Rashleigh Rivero.

- At halftime, Thailand still on the lead, now by 10 points. 33-43. Troy Rosario now with 10 pts, while Kiefer Ravena has 9 and Kevin Ferrer has 5 pts. Marcus Douthit tops in rebounds so far with 7.
- Would you believe? The Philippine team overturned the game in 3rd Quarter, now leads by 3. 59-56.
- Right before time hits at 9:00 in the 4th Quarter, Thailand ties the game at 59.
- Gilas quickly recovers after a 3 and a 2. 64-59.
- At 6:14, #7 of Thailand makes a laup. 64-61
- At 5:57, players in near brawl: Thailand's Sukhdave Ghogar and 2 others vs Glenn Khobuntin and Marcus Douthit. Really intense game. Ghogar grabbed and elbowed Khobuntin, but it was the latter who was ejected from the game. Foul drawn on Douthit who was defending Khobuntin, while Ghogar was awarded 2 free throws, then ball possession for the Thais. Can't believe it.
