Miss World Philippines 2013 official candidates have been announced!
The press presentation of Miss World Philippines 2013 official candidates has just been held this afternoon, July 31, at the Solair Resort & Casino. Among the 26 official candidates are familiar faces like Megan Young, Bianca Paz, Patricia Ejercitado, Janicel Lubina, Nicole Marable, Vina Openiano, Ria Rabajante, Zandra Flores, Mercegrace Raquel and KC Cajandig.
You all know Megan Young. Here she is at today's press presentation. Lookin' like a winner already.
Patricia Ejercitado and Nicole Marable were Binibining Pilipinas 2012 candidates. Patricia landed in the Top 12 while Nicole was a non-placer. Ria Rabajante, Zandra Flores, Mercegrace Raquel and KC Cajandig were also candidates of Binibining Pilipinas this 2013, but all unplaced. Zandra is still fresh from being a Top 10 finalist and Miss Photogenic as well as Press Favorite awardee at Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013 held just 5 days ago.
Janicel Lubina has just been crowned Slimmer's World Miss Bikini Philippines 2013 last May, while Vina Openiano also recently joined Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013 where she was a Top 10 finalist and Best in Swimsuit awardee.
Among pageant newbies, half-Jordanian candidate, Bianca Saldua, also caught the press' attention when she paraded in swimsuit with a "tapis" or "sarong". She's a Muslim, and the Miss World 2013 pageant anyway will be held in Indonesia with no revealing swimsuit or bikini competition.
