Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's movie 'Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Mo?' could be the next box office hit of Star Cinema. And that's if the great online reception for the movie's official trailer will translate to big box office grosses when it finally hits theaters on July 31, 2013.

As of 1PM today, July 19, the movie's full trailer posted at Star Cinema's official Youtube channel is already nearing a million views (812,560) in only a week after it was uploaded, and 2 weeks before its grand showing in Philippine theaters.

The movie is nearing the 868,500 trailer views for last month's "Four Sisters and A Wedding" and has already drawn more views than John Lloyd Cruz-Angel Locsin 2012 movie "UnÖfficially Yours" which has 788,801 hits. Both films have grossed more than a hundred million box-office gross receipts: P145M for "Four Sisters..." as of last Sunday and P157.3M final gross for "Unofficially Yours".

By next week, 'Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?' will surely cross the million mark, a rare feat for a Pinoy movie trailer.
In the said Star Cinema's Youtube channel, 5 film trailers have more than a million views. These are "Praybeyt Benjamin", "No Other Woman", "The Mistress", "This Guy's In Love With You Mare" and "Suddenly It's Magic". Except for the last one, which didn't even reach P50M, all these films were certified box office hits, grossing more than P240-million.

With the positive responses the trailer is getting, "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo" could be the 3rd Filipino movie to hit P100M mark in the box-office this 2013, after "It Takes A Man And A Woman" and "Four Sisters and a Wedding".

Based on Ramon Bautista's best-selling book of the same title, "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?" is Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's first movie team-up after 2 successful teleseryes: "My Binondo Girl" and "Ina, Kapatid, Anak". It's directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, who's also a certified box office director ("Don't Give Up On Us", "D Anothers", "Kimmy Dora" movies).

A tough challenge indeed for the KimXi loveteam to prove their power at the movies. No movies of Kim with former loveteam partner Gerald Anderson grossed above P100M. The highest-earning Kimerald movie was "Paano Na Kaya" in 2010 with P82M total earnings.
