The Voice 2012 Finale's touching tribute to the Sandy Hook School shooting victims

The Voice USA 2012 (Season 3) finalists and coaches performed a very touching tribute to the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut, USA, during the show's finale Monday night, December 17, 2012 (Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, MLA Time).

Together they sang Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" during the finale's opening, probably an idea that the show got from the recent episode of Saturday Night Live, where the New York City Children's Chorus performed "Silent Night" during its opening also as tribute to the Newtown, Connecticut Shooting victims.

Watch video below of the said The Voice's tribute to Sandy Hook victims. (I got chills watching it.)

After the tribute, the Top 3 remaining finalists of The Voice Season 3 then showcased their finale performances, each performed 3 songs including a duet with their respective coaches.

Judging all 9 performances, here are my Top 3 picks:

1. Cassadee Pope - "Cry"

2. Cassadee Pope - "Over You"

3. Terry McDermott with Blake Shelton - "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)"

Here's how I rank the rest of the finale performances:
4. Nicholas David with Cee Lo Green - "Play That Funky Music"
5. Nicholas David - "Great Balls of Fire"
6. Terry McDermott - "Broken Wings"
7. Terry McDermott - "I Want To Know What Love Is"
8. Cassadee Pope with Blake Shelton - "Steve McQueen"
9. Nicholas David - "Lean On Me"

And my prediction? I think Cassadee Pope will be NBC's The Voice Season 3 winner, with Terry McDermott in 2nd place.

The Voice Season 3 Finale - Results Show airs Tuesday night, Dec. 18, on NBC in the US (Wednesday AM Mla time), and on Dec. 19 or 20, 8 PM, on AXN Asia for viewers from the Philippines. -
