Kate Winslet wedding had Leonardo DiCaprio walking the bride down the aisle.

Kate Winslet's secret wedding to a guy oddly named as Ned Rocknroll (whose name until 2008 was Ned Abel Smith) happened early this December 2012 in New York City, and it's only last Wednesday night that news came out about the wedding, thru an exclusive report by US Weekly magazine.

In a statement sent to US Weekly from Kate's UK representative Sara Keene, the wedding was a very private one that only Kate's children, Mia Honey and Joe Alfie, very close friends and few family members were there.

"I can confirm that Kate Winslet married Ned Rock'nRoll in NY earlier this month in a private ceremony attended by her two children and a very few friends and family. The couple had been engaged since the summer," Keene told US Weekly.

And in a separate report, US Weekly said that Kate's "Titanic" co-star and longtime friend Leonardo DiCaprio was the one who walked down the aisle with her (and not her father or parents, who weren't invited at all).

So cool, isn't it? The stars who portrayed Jack and Rose may not have ended together in real life, but they've remained friends and that moment of them walking down the aisle together is already a delight to the fans of their much-loved movie loveteam.

Can't wait to see Kate Winslet's wedding photos (especially those with Leo)!

Kate is 37 years old and it was already her 3rd marriage. She married Jim Threapleton in 1998 (divorced in 2001), then Sam Mendes in 2003 (divorced in 2011).

Ned Rocknroll was previously married to Eliza Pearson for 3 years, and the 34-year-old pretty unknown guy (before this marriage) is said to be the nephew of English billionaire Sir Richard Branson.

Kate and Ned reportedly began liking each other in August 2011.
