'A Secret Affair' Movie Gross: P55.93 million in 5 days!

'A Secret Affair' Movie made an impressive start in the box office with a 5-day opening gross of P55.93-million.

Box Office Mojo's tally for the period October 24-28, 2012 shows that the Anne Curtis-Derek Ramsay movie was the #1 film, beating previous week's top-grosser 'This Guy's In Love With U Mare!', which had P15.38M for its 3rd weekend, but already has a 3-week total of
P227.77M.

'Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles' meanwhile collected P13.30M for its 2nd weekend, landing on 3rd spot. After 12 days, the Dingdong Dantes starrer already has gross earnings of P58.27M, but still, it has a long way to go in recovering its reported P80M budget.

A Secret Affair's 5-day gross is the 3rd highest this 2012, behind 'This Guy's in Love With U Mare!' with P123.49 and 'The Mistress' with P106.27, but it's much lower than last year's 'No Other Woman' which also starred Anne and Derek, and had P93.23M on its first 5 days. - www.mykiru.ph
