Manny Pacquiao challenged to a May 5 fight, called a "punk" by Floyd Mayweather Jr

Manny Pacquiao is being challenged again by the undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr to fight him this May.

Mayweather has been posting tweets to Manny Pacquiao for 2 consecutive days already, challenging the Filipino boxer to a fight on May 5.

Last Wednesday, he tweeted, "Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out. Let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see."

He even called Manny a "punk" in his next tweet.

"My Jail Sentence was pulled back because the date was locked in. Step Up Punk."

[Last December, Mayweather was sentenced with a 90-day jail term for domestic violence charges. He was supposed to start serving his term in January, but due to his scheduled May 5 fight with yet-to-be known opponent, it was postponed to June 1.]

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines "punk" as a young inexperienced man. (Or if you want a slang definition, it's used to described a homosexual man in prison)

Then a day after, he tweeted again along with a photo of his belt and of him while making his tweet for Manny.

FloydMayweather: "I'm ready to put my belt up. What about you Manny Pacquiao? Let's make history."

Before those tweets, Mayweather also posted this photo of him, sitting comfortably inside the ring.

When Mayweather tweeted the photo above, he included the caption "42-0", his professional boxing record, probably to remind everyone that he is an undefeated boxer and that no one will rule over him inside the ring.

In a recent interview, Manny Pacquiao has already accepted Mayweather's challenge, not on May 5 though but on a later date.

According to the Associated Press reports, Manny's camp want a larger venue than the MGM Grand Arena, a 17,000-seater in Las Vegas where Mayweather is scheduled to fight.

A 45,000-seater arena is currently under construction in Las Vegas but it will be completed late May.
