Claudine Barretto transfers to GMA 7 because of Angel Locsin?

It's no longer a surprise when GMA's 24 Oras reported that ABS-CBN homegrown talent Claudine Barretto has moved to the rival network.
Many already predicted this to happen especially when Claudine Barretto signed movie deals with VIVA Films a month ago, leaving Star Cinema, ABS-CBN's film outfit.
Claudine Barretto was considered the biggest artist of Star Magic, the talent management of ABS-CBN, thus it is a real shocker that Claudine made such big decision of leaving Star Magic and transfer to GMA 7.
Speculations say that Claudine's silent rift with former GMA talent Angel Locsin triggered her to make the move.
It was reported before that Claudine had a feud with Angel during the latter's first year of stay on ABS-CBN after leaving GMA.
Star Magic and Angel's manager patched things up between the two. Claudine Barretto even said in one of her interviews that she and Angel were already okay.
But according to some isyuseros, there was still a silent conflict between the two.
Claudine allegedly was not happy with how Star Cinema is making special treatment to Angel especially when it comes to the projects which were supposedly meant for Claudine.
One of those projects is the supposed reunion movie of Aga Muhlach and Claudine Barretto.
Claudine happily announced before that she'd finally do a movie with Aga, but the said project allegedly was given to Angel Locsin.
Piolo Pascual and Claudine, who were good friends since they made the movie "Milan", also had conflicts during the Claudine-Angel feud because Piolo allegedly took side with Angel.
Before leaving ABS-CBN, Claudine was last seen joining other Kapamilya stars during the Star Magic World Concert Tour in Manila last November 13, but she never granted any interview for the showbiz reporters of ABS-CBN.
She was also supposed to do a teleserye with sister Gretchen on ABS-CBN but because of this latest development, it will not gonna happen. Maybe in movies, it's possible.
While on ABS-CBN, Claudine was tagged as the Optimum Teleserye Queen (because of 7 successful teleserye) and was named Box Office Queen twice (for Kailangan Kita and Sukob) by the Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation.
Claudine is also a 6-time Best Actress awardee after portraying competent roles in 3 Star Cinema movies: Milan, Dubai and Nasaan Ka Man.
We wouldn't be surprised if Claudine's bestfriend Diether Ocampo will follow her in the future.
With Angel Locsin on ABS-CBN and GMA now has Claudine Barretto, at least "quits na sila".
