Luis Manzano was so inspired hosting 'The Voice Philippines Season 2' earlier 'coz his girlfriend Angel Locsin was watching at the audience.
When Luis first came out on stage with Toni Gonzaga at the start of the show, Luis even greeted Angel a "Happy Anniversary" and "I love you"
Ohhh, that was so sweet. They're celebrating their anniversary today, February 7, and for Angel to be with Luis just to watch him host The Voice Philippines' live airing at Resorts World Manila, looks like the two have a romantic celebration somewhere after the show. I hope in the next episodes, we'll also see Toni Gonzaga's fiancé Paul Soriano and Sarah Geronimo's boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli also watching at The Voice audience.
Now, let's talk about the live show that happened tonight, which was both a Performance and Results Night. The four (4) remaining artists from Team Apl and Team Sarah performed, and the public voting was done within commercial break only.
First to perform was Team Apl in this order:
Alisah Bonaobra -
Daryl Ong - "Smile"
Suy Galvez - "Bridge Over Troubled Water"
Mackie Cao - "Maghintay Ka Lamang"
Then, Team Sarah followed:
Kokoi Baldo - "Could You Be Loved"
Jason Fernandez - "Moves Like Jagger"
Jason Dy - "O.M.G."
Monique Lualhati - "Bang Bang"
The artists who got the Top 2 highest votes automatically advanced to the next round, and the coach saved just 1 from the Bottom 2 and
eliminated the other.
And these were official results of the public vote:
TEAM APL
1. Daryl 31.16%
2. Alisah 28.25%
3. ? 27.34%
4. ? 13.25%
TEAM SARAH
1. Kokoi 41.61%
2. Monique 25.26%
3. ? 19.18%
4. ? 13.95%
Daryl, Alisah, Kokoi and Monique automatically advanced. It wasn't revealed who ranked 3rd and 4th so as not to influence the decision of Coach Sarah and Coach Apl.
Decision Time. Coach Apl saved Mackie, while Coach Sarah had a hard time picking between the two Jason(s), but in the end, she chose Jason Dy. Thus, Suy Galvez and Jason Fernandez, both stolen artists, were eliminated. I think the fact that they were just stolen artists somehow helped the coaches in making the decision.
With the elimination of Suy and Jason F, no more stolen artists are left in the competition.
