Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario teamed up in a performance for 'It's Showtime' 3rd Anniversary Talent Showdown.
Vice and Jhong, who the fans dubbed as Team CutiePie, were already the 5th pair or team to perform for Showtime's weeklong 3rd Anniversary celebration, after Anne Curtis and Karylle last Monday, Jugs and Teddy last Tuesday, Kuya Kim and Ryan Bang yesterday, and the team of Coleen Garcia, Baby Joy and Eruption also yesterday.
For their introduction, Vice and Jhong made a spoof of ABS-CBN's upcoming soap 'A Beautiful Affair' which they titled as 'A Not So Beautiful Affair'.
Their performance started so funny, but went boring in the middle. Thanks to Paulo Avelino's surprise "shirtless" appearance, which saved it from ending terribly.
Kedebon's appearance before Paulo however didn't help. The 'X Factor Philippines' finalist failed to surprise the audience who gave no reaction at all when he came out on stage together with stand-up comedian Negi.
Over-all, it was quite fine and a really entertaining prod, but still, it's my least favorite among the 5 teams which have performed so far on Showtime. (But of course, you might have a different opinion than mine.)

After their performance, Vice Ganda revealed that Kris Aquino's ex-husband James Yap and Kapuso's Primetime King Richard Gutierrez were supposed to be part of their presentation.
Wow, that could have earned them a perfect score for "gulat" factor.
What went wrong?
Vice said that James Yap got injured last night. He however did not disclose the reason why Richard's surprise appearance didn't push through.
He still thanked GMA Management for allowing Chard to appear on Showtime, though it didn't happen.
If GMA allowed Richard, why is it that his appearance still did not push through?
Now I get it. Vice Ganda's tweets about network war the other day got something to do with this.
In his tweet, Vice wished network war to end so he could realize his dream of guesting on GMA's Bubble Gang, and also, so he could interview Joey De Leon on ABS-CBN's GGV.
I think this is what happened. GMA allowed Richard, but with a condition? That Vice will also guest on Chard's new show 'Extra Challenge'? But unfortunately, ABS-CBN didn't like the idea?
It was already Vice Ganda's 2nd attempt to guest Richard Gutierrez in his two shows on ABS-CBN.
Last February, Richard was supposed to guest "live" on 'Gandang Gabi Vice' along with twin brother Raymond, but it didn't push through because the episode will clash against the airing of 'Survivor Philippines' Reunion Special on GMA 7 with Richard as the host. - www.mykiru.ph
