Now that the results for the 6 of the 7 Miss World 2013 Challenge Events have been announced (Beach Fashion, Sports & Fitness, Talent, Beauty with a Purpose, Top Model, Multimedia), let's have a look at the top-performing candidates so far who are now leading the scoreboards and are already being expected to enter the pageant semis.

On top of them all are the candidates from the Philippines, Brazil and France. These three are actually big favorites among pageant fans, and they have done great during the challenges, placing in 3 of those.

Controversial candidate Miss Philippines Megan Young is so far the strongest contender among the 127 candidates basing on the results of those 6 challenges. Her effortless elegance made her the Top Model winner, and she's also 4th in the Multimedia Challenge and 5th Placer in the Beach Fashion. Partial result of the "People's Champion" online voting shows Megan in 2nd. She's already winning, and this could probably be the reason why some people wanted Megan Young to be disqualified as a Miss World 2013 candidate over the topless Rogue Magazine shoot that she did in 2012.

Miss Brazil Sancler Frantz meanwhile is the Beach Fashion winner and also finished 5th in both the Top Model competition and the Beauty with a Purpose Award.

Miss France Marine Lorphelin is also on the right track. Even though she didn't end up as winner in any of the challenges announced so far, she has performed so well and earned placements in 3 challenges. She is in fact 2nd to Miss Brazil in the Beach Fashion, 3rd in the Top Model and 6th in Beauty with a Purpose.

Another favorite Miss Ukraine Anna Zayachkivska also placed in 3 of the challenges: 3rd in Talent, 4th in Top Model and a Top 11 finalist in Beach Fashion.

Other top-performing candidates:

Miss Australia Erin Holland (2nd in Beauty with a Purpose Award, 2nd in Talent)
Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha (Beauty with a Purpose Award winner, 3rd in Multimedia)
Miss Ghana Naa Okailer Shooter (3rd in Beach Fashion, 7th in Beauty with a Purpose Award)
Miss Indonesia Vania Larissa (Talent winner, Beach Fashion Top 11 finalist)
Miss India Navneet Kaur Dhillon (Multimedia winner, 9th in Beauty with a Purpose Award)
Miss Belgium Noemie Happart (4th in Beauty with a Purpose Award, a semi-finalist in Sports)
Miss Spain Elena Ibarbia (2nd in Sports, Top 11 in Beach Fashion)

Miss Italy Sarah Baderna (Top 10 finalist in Top Model, Top 11 in Beach Fashion, semi-finalist in Sports)

The Miss World 2013 Finals is already happening tonight, Septembver 28, at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia. In the Philippines, you can catch the telecast on FOX and GMA 7.

  1. it's my first time to browse your page and post a comment.. same sentiments as yours.. so sad that they have to do this just to make the viewers believe that they really have the power to save their bets..

so sad about what happened to Jessica which received 35% only, as if she didn't sing well that night and totally never gave her a fair chance of winning..
it seems like the coach already knew the result of the public voting that's why he really had to do something in order for Janice to win..
lost interest after this incident, now i do believe that the management really manipulates such "realitv" shows afterall..
    haaayy.. :'(
