Grace Poe disqualified from running as President in the 2016 Philippine Elections, as per 3-0 decision by the Commission on Election (COMELEC) Second Division released today, December 1, 2015.

Heard this breaking news earlier on TV Patrol, and I find it very heartbreaking coz Grace Poe is my top choice among the 2016 Presidential candidates.

A strong contender, having been consistently on top of surveys, Sen. Poe Grace was running as independent candidate, with Sen. Francis 'Chiz' Escudero as running mate. That's the obvious reason why some wanted her disqualified, citing her residency and not being a natural-born Filipino citizen in at least three (3) disqualification cases.

They succeeded, preventing our country from having a good President.

Sen. Poe's camp isn't giving yet, and they will go for all legal remedies possible to appeal COMELEC 2nd Division's decision, as reported by TV Patrol.

It's funny to think that Poe was able to run and won as Senator, yet she can't run for President.

Left in the running at this point for the country's highest position are Vice President Jejomar "Jojo" Binay, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago and Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. - Mykiru.ph
