The Voice Kids Philippines Top 6: Darren Espanto, Lyca Gairanod advance to Live Semi-Finals for Team Sarah

The Voice Kids Philippines' Top 6 Semi-Finalists are now complete!

The previous weekends, there were Darlene Vibares and Tonton Cabiles for Team Lea Salonga, Juan Karlos Labajo and Edray Teodoro for Team Bamboo advancing to the Live Semifinals.

Joining them now are Darren Espanto and Lyka Gairanod, after Coach Sarah Geronimo picked them among her 6 artists who won in the Battle round and then performed in the Sing-offs.

Now I think Team Sarah is the strongest team, with both Darren and Lyca, two early favorites who sang 'Domino' and 'Halik' respectively during the Blind Auditions, both making it to the semi-finals. I was actually expecting them already to emerge as Team Sarah's Top 2 even before The Battles started.

During the Sing-offs, aired earlier, Darren wowed everyone with his rendition of the powerful female ballad 'Listen', originally by Beyoncé. He can sing anything, can't he?

Even Coach Lea and Coach Bamboo were amazed, and said that he's got total package.

Lyca on one hand performed a Tagalog version of 'Dance With My Father'. Coach Sarah picked her because she sings from the heart, and touches everyone's heart as she sings.

With those choices, there's gonna be a tough battle between two small girls with powerful voices (Darlene and Lyca) and a battle between heartthrobs (Darren and Juan Karlos) in the semi-finals.

Now, who among the Top 6 will make it to the Grand Finals, and become the 1st The Voice Kids Philippines Grand Winner?

The live semi-finals will begin on July 19, 2014. And as announced, the Top 4 with the highest votes in the semis will advance to the finale.

I'm already making a bold prediction that the Top 4 will be Darren, Darlene, Juan Carlos and Lyca.
