'Got To Believe' Finale Presscon: Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla talk about "kissing scene"

'Got To Believe' finale promises "best ending ever" for the love story of Chichay and Joaquin, effectively portrayed by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

One of the most successful TV series ever produced by ABS-CBN, 'Got To Believe' is now down to its last 8 nights.

Oh that sounds kinda sad, but as what the show's finale teaser says, "All good things must come to an end" (a line from the Father of English Literature Geoffrey Chaucer).

It was already a given fact that during the 'Got To Believe' finale presscon held yesterday, February 25, they're not gonna reveal anything about the show's ending, or any single clue about how it's gonna end.

But director Cathy Garcia-Molina and lead stars Kath and Daniel promised the loyal viewers a "best ending ever" for the finale on March 7.

A bold statement, but I think it's already enough to excite me, and most especially the KathNiel fans out there. We won't get disappointed. That's how I interpret it.

Reacting to a question about whether they considered fan suggestions for the finale, Direk Cathy said that the ending has already been set long before, subject for approval from ABS-CBN bosses.

And just like in every presscon featuring a loveteam, these questions were asked once again: "Kayo na ba?", "Are you officially 'on'?", "Ano nang latest sa relationship nyo?"

Not surprisingly, Kathryn and Daniel said "no", and that they're still in the MU stage.

But I sooo loved that moment when Daniel paused for a while before answering the question. Part of me was expecting he's going to admit they're already a couple. I remember someone from the press even shouted "Yes!" (telling Daniel to say 'yes') until the actor finally said, "Hindi po. Bawal pa po."

The two also didn't escape answering a query about a possible kissing
scene or if they're ready to do a kissing scene.

Kathryn is no Julia Montes, so I already expected her to say she's isn't ready yet to get kissed on the lips onscreen, even after turning 18 on March 26. "Ayoko pa po talaga. Hugs at kiss sa cheeks lang po muna. Kasi di ba 'pag nasimulan mo na, magtutuluy-tuloy na 'yun, na dapat sa lahat ng shows mo meron nang ganun. 'di ka na pwedeng tumanggi, 'di ka na pwedeng mag-reason out na ayoko eh, kasi nagawa mo na," she said.

And for Daniel, he's sooo willing to wait and gave an amusing answer about a question if he wants to share first onscreen kiss with
Kathryn. "Siguro naman po si Kathryn. Sa hinaba-haba ba naman po ng pinagsamahan
namin, tapos mapupunta lang sa iba, eh bad trip 'yun!"

(Lols. Oo nga naman.)

Other cast members present at the press conference were Carmina Villarroel, Ian Veneracion, Benjie Paras, Liza Soberano, Chienna Filomeno, Kristel Fulgar, Jon Lucas, Katrina Legaspi, Angeli Gonzales,
Ingrid dela Paz, Alexander Diaz and a slimmer Yves Flores, who admitted he's ready to go sexy after 'Got To Believe'. (Looking forward to that.) - Mykiru.ph
