NBA Finals 2012 Game 5 between Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat (who's now just 1 win away to claim the NBA 2012 Championship Title) is airing live now on ABS-CBN.

Are we going to have Miami Heat being crowned Champions after Game 5? Or the OKC Thunder gonna force a Game 6 in their home-court on Sunday? We shall see as I post live results of Game 5 below.

1st Quarter starts. Russell Westbrook, who was amazing in Game 4 with 43 points, has scored the 1st 2 points for OKC Thunder in Game 5. Miami Heat meanwhile gets its first 2 points from a shot by LeBron James.

1st Q 1:50: With less than 2 minutes left, Miami Heat leading by 7, 21-28.

1st Q ends: After 2 free throws from Westbrook, a dunk by Kevin Durant and a 3-point shot by Norris Cole, 1st Quarter wrapped up with 26-31 for Miami.

2nd Quarter has started. Westbrook scores 2 plus a free throw for OKC. Mike Miller shoots a 3 for Miami, but OKC's Derek Fisher also shoots 3. Miami's lead down to just 2. 32-34.

2nd Q 7:05: MIA's Dwayne Wade dunks and later makes a 2-point jumper plus a free throw. Chris Bosh also makes a layup. 34-41.

2nd Q 5:25: MIA's LeBron shoots a 2. OKC's James Harden hits 2 free throws. MIA's Mario Chalmers scores a 3, followed by a 2 by Bosh. 36-48.

2nd Q 4:17: Mike Miller makes a 3 plus an open shot ay LeBron. Miami now on their biggest lead. 36-53.

2nd Q 3:50: Harden of the Thunder hits 2 free throws plus another 2. 40-53

2nd Q 2:00: LeBron gets 2 free throws. Westbrook also hits 2 free throws. Shane Battier makes a layup. Kevin Durant shoots a 3. 45-57.

End of 1st Half: 49-59

3rd Q 1:23: Not an easy 3rd Quarter for OKC as Miami leads by 26, their biggest lead in Game 5. 67-93. It's raining 3-point shots from Miami, while lots of misses for OKC.

3rd Q is about to end with 30 sec. left: 70-95

3rd Q ends: 71-95. Miami scored a total of 36 points in the 3rd Quarter as against OKC's 22 points. Whew!

4th Q 9:33: Mike Miller is the "star" of Game as he continues to make 3-point shots. He's Miami's leading scorer so far with 23 points. 79-103

4th Q 7:51: Derek Fisher makes 3-point shot plus more shots for OKC to cut Miami's lead to 20. Still big though. 86-106.

4th Q 4:49: Miami should celebrate now I guess. They're leading by 23 with less than 5 minutes remaining. 89-112. At this point, LeBron has already achieved a triple double: 24 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists.

4th Q 3:01: OKC trying to catch up, but Miami still aggressive. 96-118. Each team now giving way to their bench players.

4th Quarter ends, 106-121. Miami Heat win Game 5 to become NBA 2012 Champions.

  1. OKC lost the championship, but the Thunders are still an excellent team ! MIA won, but are being perceive as ugly and mean players ! The referees were not fair to OKC either. They let MIA purposely created fouls so they could get more free throws ! What a lousy sportsmanship ! Put the spirit of playing basketball in disgrace ! What a shame !
