Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla ("KathNiel") will be part of "Sisteraka", an entry in the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2012) starring Kris Aquino and Vice Ganda.

That was revealed by Kris Aquino herself via her morning show "Kris TV" earlier today, June 25, 2012.

It sounds very exciting to the KathNiel fans because "Sisteraka" will mark the first time that Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be working together in a movie, following their successful team-up on TV shows "Growing Up" and the currently airing "Princess And I".

It will also be Daniel's first ever movie and Kathryn's 2nd consecutive MMFF entry. Last year, she was part of the horror trilogy "Shake, Rattle & Roll 13".

Kris also revealed that the title of the movie, "Sisteraka", is still subject to change because she simply doesn't like it. Probably because, it rhymes with "chaka" and "palaka".

However, Vice Ganda, who was Kris TV's guest today, disagrees with Kris and said in the show that he likes their movie's title.

Kris and Vice's leading man in the movie is yet to be revealed.

"Sisteraka" will be another co-production of Star Cinema and Viva Films and will be directed by Wenn V. Deramas. And THIS needs no official announcement: DJ Durano for sure will also be part of the cast. - www.mykiru.ph
