Pinoy Master Rapper Francis 'Kiko' Magalona or simply Francis M. died on Friday, March 06, 2009, after a lengthy suffering from leukemia.

Francis, the King of Pinoy Rap, was only 44 years old.

He was the son of popular movie idols of the 50s, Pancho Magalona and Tita Duran.

Married to Pia Arroyo, Francis had eight children: Maxene, Saab, Unna, Nick, Frank, Elmo, Ark and Clara. (Maxene and Saab are actresses)

Other than being a rapper, Francis was also a successful and well-respected host, actor, producer and composer.

Some of his hit songs, which could be considered as "Tatak Francis M.", include Mga Kababayan Ko, Tayo'y Mga Pinoy and Kaleidoscope World.

Before his death, he had a collaboration with Ely Buendia and some other for an album entitled 'The Sickos Project', which is yet to be released in the future.

Francis was supposed to be a special guest on Eraserheads Reunion Concert Part 2: The Final Set, which is happening tonight, March 07, 2009, at SM Mall of Asia.
