Anne Curtis, drunk, slapped John Lloyd Cruz!

A drunk Anne Curtis slapped John Lloyd Cruz and 2 others, shouted at Phoemela Baranda and told her "I can buy you, your friends and this club."

That's the biggest story to start this month of December (other than of course Paul Walker's death).

On Sunday evening, PEP posted this very intriguing post about Anne Curtis that she allegedly got drunk at a bachelorette party which she herself hosted last November 22.

And then, a drunk Anne allegedly slapped first Circuit Magazine editor-in-chief JR Isaac, then Globe Telecom executive Leah de Guzman and even actor John Lloyd Cruz, calling him "addict". Isaac further told PEP that Anne also shouted at model-host Phoemela Baranda, telling her "I can buy you, your friends, and this club!"

The slapping incident happened early morning of November 23 at the Privé Luxury Club located at the Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Dubbed as the first luxury club in the Philippines, Prive is owned by GP Reyes, Louie Ysmael and JM Rodriguez.

I'm kinda disappointed to hear this bad news about Anne, especially that I've always believed she's one of the nicest celebs we have here in the country. That's also why she's got so many endorsements and she's the most-followed local celebrity on Twitter, having almost 6 million followers. She may be drunk, but there must be something that could have triggered her to act that way. (John Lloyd Cruz and Jake Cuenca allegedly orchestrated a prank on Anne Curtis. Jake has denied involvement in any prank that night.)

Why did Anne slap JR Isaac, the EIC of Circuit Magazine which had Anne as cover girl last April? She, who is an endorser of Smart, allegedly also slapped the Globe telco exec, and more shockingly, John Lloyd Cruz, who was once her co-star in "Maging Sino Ka 'Man" and is currently her fellow endorser for the pizza chain Greenwich.

Having nasty behavior when drunk isn't new among famous celebrities, but of course, it's still not an excuse to lose control of yourself and hurt other people. Anne is also endorsing GSM Blue which also has the friendly reminder, "Drink moderately!"

Still according to the PEP report, Anne came out from a toilet at the bar, so mad and was shouting "Who's banging my door?" before the slapping, then slapping and another slapping happened.

On Twitter, Anne quickly apologized for what happened on the same night PEP posted the article.

According to her tweet, most of the report is true, though she didn't elaborate further which is true in the report and which is not. She admitted she committed a mistake, and that she indeed had too many drinks that night.

"Hey everyone. I will be making my official statement now & after this, I will not be giving any interviews about this issue anymore.

I choose to do this right away because I've always been an open book & I don't like to hide anything.

For those who have read about the issue, yes, most of it is true. I admit to that & I have apologized to all parties included immediately.

When I was told of my behavior AND the person who started all of this, due to this person's inappropriate behavior, apologized to me too just as I did. Which I accepted too. I choose not to go into detail because I'm not the type to ruin someone else's name.

Now.. I had been on the super popular juice cleanse for 3 days & attended my best friends bachelorette that night, had one too many drinks which led to some of these unfortunate events. That's why they say 'Drink in moderation'. I will charge it to experience & a lesson learned.

I'm sorry if I let any of my fans down.... As you all see, I'm just like any other person that makes mistakes in life."

And this tweet of her is what I like most. She said that with where she is now, probably referring to the immense popularity that she has and the big star status she's enjoying right now, she owes us all her honesty. It's the most retweeted and favorited of all her tweets about the slapping issue, having 1,333 retweets and 2,716 favorites as of this posting:

It takes guts to own up to her mistakes. And for that, I still admire you Anne. I'm still your fan and I will still love you. Just be careful the next time, and don't do it again okay?
