We're indeed living in the digital world where offering prayers are being based on LIKES (1 like means 1 prayer on Facebook) and helping others is now also based on likes (1 like = 1 peso), the latter being the case today on 'It's Showtime'.

Host Vice Ganda pledged to donate money to a young studio audience, a blind kid named MariaFeilene, but the financial assistance is based on the number of likes and retweets their group selfie will generate in social media sites Twitter and Facebook.

So, they first posed with the kid for a selfie, and then he immediately posted it in his Twitter account (@vicegandako) and Instagram (@praybeytbenjamin).

Netizens cooperated with them, as the photo generated 27,000+ retweets on Twitter and 88,000+ likes on Instagram, tallied right before the show ended its episode today.
