Last year, Mutya ng Pilipinas produced winners who made the country proud after winning in international pageantry. Koreen Medina placed 3rd Runner Up in Miss Intercontinenal 2013, while Angeli Dione Gomez took home the Miss Tourism International 2013-14 crown, giving the Philippines a back-to-back win in the said pageant since Rizzini Alexis Gomez won the same title a year before.

Both Angeli and Rizzini are from Cebu City, and this year's winner, Psychee Patalinjug, is also from the same city. It's 3 years in a row now for Cebu City to win one of the top titles in this 47-year-old pageant. - Mykiru.ph
