Max Krzyzanowski from Ireland is Mr. Gay World 2009

The first ever Mr. Gay World title has been crowned to Mr. Gay Ireland Max Krzyzanowski during the pageant's grand finale held last Saturday night, February 07, 2009, in Whistler, Canada.

Max Krzyzanowski, who is already 37 years old, was the oldest contestant in the pageant and won over 19 other younger gay contestants from around the globe including the Philippines' bet Wilbert Tolentino who won two special awards: Best in Costume and Mr. Popularity.

The Irish hunk is a martial arts instructor (Muay Thai kickboxing) as well as a security guard (bouncer) at the private club PantiBar in Dublin City.
