Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace and Michael Sarver advance to Top 12 of American Idol Season 8

On Americal Idol Season 8's episode last night (US), we saw three contestants advancing to the Final Top 12 and they are music teacher Danny Gokey(photo), young mom Alexis Grace and Oil Rig Roughneck worker Michael Sarver.The three will next compete on March 10 along with the 9 other finalists, which are yet to be known on the next episodes.
Last Tuesday (for their performance night), Alexis Grace sang "Never Loved a Man" by Aretha Franklin while Danny Gokey gave his own version of Mariah Carey hit "Hero" and Michael Sarver performed Gavin DeGraw's "I Don't Wanna Be."
Twelve contestants performed and with Gokey, Grace and Sarver moving on to the final Top 12, nine contestants have been out of the competition:

These eliminated contestants still have a chance though during the wildcard round happening on March 5.
Next week, on February 25 and 26, two more groups will compete (12 contestants each) to get a slot in the Top 12:
