Oscar-winning actor, filmmaker George Clooney was arrested outside Sudanese Embassy in Washington D.C. on Friday, March 16, 2012.
Together with his father Nick and five others, 50-year-old actor George Clooney was arrested outside the Sudanese Embassy while he was protesting against the government of Sudan.

A known dedicated humanitarian and political activist, George Clooney and his companions protested against the Sudanese government for the worsening humanitarian disaster in Sudan.
They were arrested for civil disobedience after they crossed police lines despite warnings.
I admire this Clooney's humanitarian effort despite some people raising the issue that it's just a publicity stunt for Clooney's political plans.
