With the report that celebrity daughter and model Carla Abellana has auditioned as Richard Gutierrez's leading lady in GMA 7's TV adaptation of Zorro, there are loud speculations that Carla will get the coveted role.

And that is if GMA 7 can afford to have someone who resembles their hottest female star Marian Rivera.

Upon seeing Carla Abellana being interviewed on ABS-CBN's TV Patrol World last Friday, isyuseros in the showbizlandia were quick to compare Carla and Marian.

Both have the prettiest faces, deep set eyes, lovely smile and sexy pair of dimples.

Carla and Marian are both graduates of Pyschology at the De La Salle University (DLSU). Carla though received Cum Laude honors for her course at DLSU-Taft while Marian took it at DLSU-Dasma.

Carla, who is the daughter of former matinee idol Rey 'PJ' Abellana, has just signed a 12-picture contract with Regal Films and there's a possibility that Marian and Carla will star in one movie together since Marian is also a contract star of the said film outfit.

ABS-CBN probably should get Carla in their pool of talents so they could have an almost perfect match for Marian Rivera.

As a commercial model, Carla Abellana appeared in the Jollibee Ice Craze ad and is currently dating PBA basketeer John Christopher 'JC' Intal.
