The Voice Philippines Season 2 winner is Jason Dy - Poll

LATEST UPDATE: Read Jason Dy wins The Voice Philippines on the same day Sarah Geronimo won Star For A Night 12 years ago

PREVIOUS UPDATES: The Voice Philippines Season 2 Grand Finals Performances last night, Feb. 28, had the Top 4 artists going through 2 sets of performances.

Tonight, March 1, the 2nd part of grand finals, they'll be competing in 2 more sets, before the Top 2 "Final Showdown" round where the remaining 2 artists will battle to become the new Voice of the Philippines winner.

Will it be Jason Dy of Team Sarah Geronimo? Or Leah Patricio of Team Lea Salonga? Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl and Rence Rapanot of Team Bamboo, two artists having the best life story among the 4 grand finalists, are also giving them a good fight.

My choice as the best performance last night was that Wrecking Ball duet of Jason Dy and international star Charice. Watch video!

Kinda didn't expect it would turn out sooo good. And I hope they will collaborate more in the future. My 2nd Best was Leah's duet with world champion Jed Madela of the song 'Muli'.

After every set of performances, viewers were able to vote during commercial break only for just 1 artist per mobile number.

And the results were close among the 3 artists, but not for 1, the leading contender who has a very wide lead with vote percentage more than twice the combined votes of any 2 other artists.

T - 44.78%, V - 18.98%, O - 18.54%, P - 17.69%

T - 41.91%, V - 22.19%, O - 18.55%, P - 18.36%

The voting will resume tonight for the next 2 set of performances.

Is Jason Dy the Artist T?

In our blog poll, which was conducted the whole week, it's Jason Dy who emerged as the top choice to be The Voice of the Philippines with over 45% of the votes.

Jason - 46.35%
Leah - 24.68%
Alisah - 17.38%
Rence - 11.59%

We'll find that out later if the poll turns out right. -
