Typhoon Mario has brought heavy rains and floods in many areas in the Philippines, including Metro Manila, causing Bench "The Naked Truth": The 2014 Denim and Underwear Fashion Show to be canceled last night and be moved to another date.

Bagyong Mario (international name: Fung-Wong) is weaker than "Yolanda" last July, but the former has been as alarming, bringing serious rains and causing heavy flooding in different parts of the country.

As of 12AM Saturday, September 20, Typhoon Mario's center was estimated at 117 km Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, with coordinates 19.1°N, 120.0°E, maximum sustained winds of 75kph and gustiness of up to 90kph, according to PAGASA in its latest update.

Public Storm Warning Signal # 2 is still up for Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands, Batanes Group of Islands, Apayao and Ilocos Norte, while it's signal #1 in Cagayan, Kalinga, Abra and Ilocos Sur.

"Mario" is being expected outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, because of the flooding everywhere in Metro Manila, the Bench 2014 Denim and Underwear Fashion Show called "The Naked Truth", which was supposed to take place last night, September 19, 2014, has been postponed, at least just for 1 day. In an advisory posted yesterday afternoon by BENCH/ in its official Twitter account, the event has been moved to a new date, and that's tonight already, September 20, still at the MOA Arena but at an earlier time.

benchtm: "We regret to inform everyone that Bench The Naked Truth denim and underwear fashion show tonight is cancelled due to bad weather condition. We would love to see you all tomorrow Saturday
5:30pm instead to witness this spectacular show!"
