The Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire Jr scored another knockout win vs Armenian Vic Darchinyan.

The rematch, Donaire vs Darchinyan II, was held Saturday night, Nov. 9, 2013 in Texas, USA (Sunday, Nov. 10, MLA Time), happening 6 years after their first fight against each other held in Connecticut, USA.

In 2007, Donaire gave Darchinyan his first ever loss via TKO in 5th Round. That was then dubbed as the Knockout of the Year and made Donaire a prime boxing fighter in the world.

This 2013, Donaire did it again. He won via knockout against Darchinyan in the 9th Round.

Though Donaire would have lost if he didn't score a TKO (Darchinyan was owning most of the previous 8 rounds), but the win was enough to redeem himself from the unanimous decision loss that he suffered against Guillermo Rigondeaux last April.

Of course, he was so inspired to win, for it was it his first time to fight as a "daddy". His first child, a baby boy, was born last July.

Congrats Nonito! It's another early birthday gift for you! (We share the
same beeday.)

In his post-fight interview, Nonito said he wants to have a rematch against Rigondeaux.

Two weeks from now, it will be Manny Pacquiao's turn to also redeem himself from 2 consecutive losses. He will fight against Brandon Rios on Nov. 23 in China.
