*Ai-Ai delas Alas reigned supreme in the 2008 MMFF with 'Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat' earning 171 million pesos in 2 weeks. However, Ai-Ai's other movie in 2008 entitled 'Ikaw Pa Rin, Bongga Ka Boy' with Robin Padilla, is one of the year's biggest disappointments. It's in 20th position, only behind My Monster Mom (#18) starring mother&daughter tandem of Annabelle Rama and Ruffa Gutierrez, and Scaregivers (#19) featuring the comedy tandem of Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.
*This is the second consecutive year for a John Lloyd Cruz movie to top the Philippine Box Office. Last year, John Lloyd ruled the chart with the monster hit 'One More Chance' with Bea Alonzo.
*Vic Sotto, 4-time Box Office King, has two films in the Top 10: Iskul Bukol and Dobol Trobol.
