Abra says F-word on Live TV during Showtime's Christmas Rappers grand finals

Abra has just said something that should never be said on Live Philippine TV.

While judging on Christmas Rappers grand finals earlier on It's Showtime, rapper Abra uttered the swear word "F*** Y**" while doing a freestyle fliptop as his sample for the Madlang Pipol. He also flashed dirty finger when he said that.

The hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro and Billy were in shock after Abra said that and were left with no choice to apologize on behalf of the rapper.

"We would like to remind everyone that the views and opinions of the judges do not reflect those of the hosts, the show, the management and the network. Kaya kung ano man po ang nasabi o naipakita ni Abra, humihingi po kami ng paumanhin," Vice said in a rap way.

Showtime viewers are now worried about the consequence of Abra saying the F-word on live TV.

And before MTRCB enters the picture, Abra owned up to his mistake by also making an apology after the grand winner of Christmas Rappers was announced. (13-year-old rapper Lil Jay was the grand champion, taking home P100,000 cash prize)

According to Abra, he didn't mean it, and he was just carried away. "Talagang out of impulse lang yung nagawa ko. Eh sakto din may battle kase ako next week, finals ng Fliptop sa San Juan Gym. Magkita-kita po tayo dyan sa darating na Sabado. Kaya pasensya na po. Mabuhay ang musikang ang OPM! Mabuhay po kayong lahat!" he said.

It wasn't the first time that a highly inappropriate word has been said on Showtime. In 2012, the show was put into controversy after someone from the studio audience uttered bad words while doing fliptop.

Same thing also happened in the same show last year when another rap artist Loonie said foul word while doing fliptop versus Showtime host Ryan Bang. - Mykiru.ph
