WCOPA 2017 Winners: Team Philippines' Nhikzy Calma, Christiani Rebada are junior and senior grand champions!

The World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2017 has just concluded earlier in Long Beach, California, USA, with the Team Philippines scoring a back-to-back victory in the junior and senior championships.

Nhikzy Calma (who was also Junior Champion for Dance Solo) and Christiani Rebada (also Senior Champion for Vocal Solo), both from the Philippines, were declared the over-all Junior Grand Champion and Senior Grand Champion of the World respectively in this year's WCOPA.

Before becoming a world champion, this talented kid was the first grand winner of the "Mini Me" contest on It's Showtime in 2014 and was part of the JaDine TV series 'On The Wings of Love' in 2015. He also appeared in a number of TV commercials.

Meanwhile, another contestant from Team Philippines, Hannah Korin Castillo, was also among WCOPA 2017 winners, bagging gold medal as the Junior Champion Vocalist of the World. - Mykiru.ph
