UAAP Season 76 Finals 2013, the La Salle vs UST Game 3 Championship Finals, took place at the Mall of Asia Arena Saturday, October 12, 2013, with a record crowd attendance of 23,305.

Starting 5 for the DLSU Green Archers were: #17 Almond Vosotros, #19 LA Revilla, #7 Arnold Van Opstal, #10 Jason Perkins and #21 Jeron Teng.

For the UST Growling Tigers on one hand, they're #7 Kevin Ferrer, #13 Paolo Pe, #20 Karim Abdul, #18 Jamil Sheriff and #16 Jeric Teng.

In the 1st Quarter, it was a very tight game with both teams alternately taking the lead, but it ended however with UST leading by just 2 points, 16-18.

But as of halftime, UST widened the lead to 8. 24-32. Biggest lead at this point was actually 9 points less than a minute left in the 2nd Quarter.

UST's leading scorers after the 1st half were Karim Abdul (14 pts), Jeric Teng (13 pts) and Kevin Ferrer (6 pts).

Almond Vosotros meanwhile was leading the Archers as of halftime with 7 points, followed by Arnold Van Opstal and Jeron Teng each with 6 points.

3rd Quarter: UST now on their biggest lead, 15 points. 25-40. 6:38 remaining. But La Salle recovered bigtime later in the quarter and UST now leading just by 1 point (huwaaat?), 47-48.

The game became more intense in the 4th Quarter, with game tied at 65 after the regulation, forcing an overtime.

Final Scores: 71-69 OT. De La Salle Green Archers are UAAP Season 76 Champions, winning their 8th UAAP Championship Title. The last time they won the championship was in 2007.

Jeron Teng of the De La Salle Green Archers was named Finals MVP of UAAP Season 76. Before the Final 4, Teng was already named RCBC Savings Bank Game Changing Player of the Season.

Everything's going fast for Jeron. Last season, he was the Rookie of the Year and now he's the Finals MVP. He was also one of the Mythical Five in the previous season.

His brother Jeric on one hand played his 5th and final year for the UAAP, but never experienced bagging the championship. Almost there though.

Jeric was the Rookie of the Year in his first season (2009 and helped bring UST Growling Tigers to the semi-finals. UST made it to the semis once again during his Junior Season (2011) and for his 4th and 5th final year, UST finished as the runner-up (2012-2013).
