Megan Young 's grand homecoming is already set for next week.

She herself has confirmed via Twitter that she'll be back to the Philippines next week, more than a week after winning the Miss World 2013 title.

Megan shared on Twitter Friday her excitement of going home after her interview for BBC World News Channel in the UK.

We are more excited to see you come home Megan! Since she's the first ever from the Philippines to win the highly-sought after Miss World crown, I think Megan deserves to be given the grandest and the biggest homecoming when she comes back.

For now, Megan is doing her first duties as Miss World 2013. She flew to London 2 days after winning Miss World 2013 in Bali, to take part in a big charity gala event there, Miss World Philippines national director Cory Quirino revealed via GMA 7's 'Unang Hirit' yesterday.

In a report by ABS-CBN News, Quirino revealed that Megan is set to return on Thursday, October 10, and her grand homecoming parade will be held the next day, October 11, at the Ayala Avenue.

A video has just been posted at the official Miss World Youtube Channel showing Megan Young's London trip and her first thoughts as the new Miss World.

As mentioned above, Megan got interviewed by BBC World News Channel's Lucy Hockings yesterday for the news program "Impact". You can watch a video of her BBC guesting below.

She's really one classy lass. Very smart and articulate.
