The top taxpayer in the Philippines for 2012 is Vivian Que-Azcona, President of Mercury Drug Corporation. She paid a total of P131.4M tax to rank #1 in the list of Top 500 Individual Taxpayers in the Philippines for the taxable year 2012, released by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) earlier this week.
Among celebrities or showbiz personalities, the top taxpayer in the Philippines is controversial TV host Willie Revillame, followed by 2011's #1 taxpayer Kris Aquino who dropped to 6th in the 2012 list. Actor John Lloyd Cruz made a big jump, from 205th in 2011 to 8th in 2012. (Ang yaman mo pala Lloydie!)
In 10th is the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, also up big time from her previous rank of 191.
