Bb. Pilipinas 2013 will have 50 official candidates

Bb. Pilipinas 2013 this April will be the 50th edition of Binibining Pilipinas, the Philippines' annual search for its representatives to the Miss Universe and Miss International pageants.

And according to the info I got from a Binibining Pilipinas insider, there's a big possibility of having 50 official candidates in the Binibining Pilipinas 2013 beauty pageant.

Wow, that looks very exciting! If it happens, it's going to be the largest number of official candidates in the 50-year history of Bb. Pilipinas, beating its record in the 2010 edition which had 40
official contestants and has since been considered as having the best batch of beauties ever.

Inspired to continue the Philippines' improving performance in Miss Universe during the last 3 years, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) will surely make it the grandest of all and carefully select the best candidate to succeed Janine Tugonon, who finished as 1st Runner Up at Miss Universe 2012.

Will she come again from the Aces and Queens under Jonas Gaffud who gave us Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon and even Queenierich Rehman?

Aware of how pageant fanatics are highly-anticipating for his candidates this year, Jonas tweeted a teaser photo of her girls, showing just their legs.

The BPCI has started to accept applications for Binibining Pilipinas 2013 since last week of December and interested applicants still have until January 15, 2013 to submit their application forms.

I bet you guys have your own wishlist of candidates you want to see competing in Binibining Pilipinas and hopefully succeed Janine Tugonon as Miss Philippines Universe.

Let us know who they are by voting on the poll below. Most of the names here aren't actually joining the pageant this year, such as MJ Lastimosa who already confirmed on Twitter that she's not joining for the 3rd straight year, but these are the girls who appear in most fans' wishlist. You can also suggest names thru the "Other" button.
