The 'American Idol' 2013 has revealed its Top 8 finalists, after eliminating one during Idol's episode Thursday night, March 21 (Mar. 22 Mla time).

The voting results for the 'American Idol' 2013 Top 9 finalists have been revealed and 22-year-old Paul Jolley from Tennessee got the lowest votes and was voted off the competition.

After getting bad comments from the judges for his "Eleanor Rigby" performance the other night and ranking in the bottom on this blog's Popularity Poll for the American Idol 2013 finalists, Paul Jolley's elimination is not surprising at all.

What's surprising was Amber Holcomb's inclusion in the Bottom 3, along with Paul and Devin Velez.

Last week, Amber was ranked 5th in the voting, while both Paul and Devin were already in the Bottom 3, ranked 8th and 9th respectively, along with Curtis Finch Jr who took the 10th spot and got eliminated.

2 guys down and the 5 girl finalists are still complete, giving better chances for a girl American Idol winner this year.

The American Idol 2013 Top 8 are: Angie Miller, Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb, Kree Harrison, Burnell Taylor, Lazaro Arbos, Devin Velez and Janelle Arthur.

The Results Show also featured the return of Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez on the 'Idol' stage to debut her new "clubby" single with Ne-Yo titled 'Tonight'.
